What this page does
Cost tools add the prices you type and show a week, a month, a year, or a single stay. They do not look up a shelter fee.
Lines you type are added. Ownership cost and the monthly budget treat them as monthly figures. Boarding and sitting are one stay. Grooming is visits per year. Walking services are a week, also shown across 52 weeks. Names are a shuffle of a fixed list.
Worked example: monthly lines of 45, 30, 20, 15, and 10 add to 120 a month and 1,440 across 12 months. A boarding stay is the nights you type times the nightly price, not a yearly plan.
How the estimate works
Press Calculate to add the prices you typed. Breed is not on these forms, because a shelter fee is not a function of a breed row. The name generator is the exception: Generate reveals a set, and another press shuffles it.
Currency is whatever you typed. The site does not convert currencies or call an insurer.
A cheap month in the form is not a cheap year if a vet bill is missing from the lines.
Limits
Insurance comparison is the price gap only. It does not read a policy.
A boarding total remains this stay. A weekly walk remains a week, also shown across 52 weeks. Neither becomes a quote.
Why is boarding not multiplied by 52?
Questions
Because the count is nights of this stay. A weekly walk is the tool that uses 52.
